Tropical Green Juice

As part of our 21 Day Yoga Detox which started this past Monday, January 6 we are blogging about experiences, including recipes and other info that will hopefully help you on your New Year's wellness journey! We've committed to doing yoga everyday (as little as 10 minutes counts and yes, we yogis sometimes fall off our yoga game, too!) and a commitment to clean eating. Tropical Green Juice
Ingredients

  • 1/3 large or 1/2 small pineapple , skin removed
  • 2 kiwi
  • 2 pears
  • 2 apples
  • 2 inch piece of ginger
  • 3 cups of spinach
     

Directions

  • Send all ingredients through juicer and enjoy!
  • This will yield approximately 24-32 oz of juice and can be enjoyed as a morning or mid-day meal. Since it's a fruit-based drink and contains natural sugars, it's best to drink it early and use it as a source of energy throughout the day. Also, fruit juices are generally more cleansing while veggie juices, which we recommend drinking during the evenings are more rejuvenating.
