Pose of the Week - Parivrtta Anjaneyasana (Revolved Lunge Pose)

This week's pose combines two seemingly opposite actions: twisting and balancing. It is a challenging pose that builds focus, strength and balance. Parivrtta Anjaneyasana has a few aliases i.e. “Revolving Crescent Lunge,” “Warrior Twist,” “Twisting Lunge,” or “Revolved Lunge Twist”. This pose engages the entire body as the torso twists and compresses your internal organs for detoxification.
