Chakra Cleansing Moving Meditation + Cherished Life Celebration

Our last class until further notice created and facilitated by dIvInAkArInA!

Join us for an exploratory journey within through the use of color therapy, breathwork, music, visualization and both stillness and moving meditation to cleanse, balance and restore the energy centers within our bodies – the chakras.

Releasing the heavy weight of baggage and blockages within the mind, body and spirit, you will experience deep healing and revitalize yourself in a gentle and loving manner.

Following, please join us for the Big Blessing Ready to Be Rebirthed Celebration, led by dIvIna kArInA. Let's come together in heartfelt celebration as Cherished Life ends this chapter and creates the opportunity to begin anew.

About dIvInAkArInA:

dIvInAkArInA is a meditation specialist, therapeutic belly dance instructor, empowerment workshop and retreat facilitator, spoken word performance artist and spiritual life and movement coach. kArInA’s creative gifts combined with her theatrical background are instrumental in her teaching. She has extensive experience in transformative practice as evidenced through the numerous classes and workshops she designs and implements for both adults and children. Organizational partners include: National Conference for College Women Student Leaders; Jack and Jill of America, Inc.; the National Medical Association; The National Association for Poetry Therapy; The Wampanoag Tribal Council; DC Rape Crisis Center; Sidwell Friends School; Iyanla Vanzant’s Inner Visions Worldwide; Simmons College, Boston, Massachusetts; and George Washington University, Washington, DC. In addition, kArInA has led numerous workshops for select groups including: Circle of Sisters Expo for WBLS Radio, New York City, NY; The Wampanoag Women’s Center, Aquinnah, MA; The Links, Inc. Marlboro Chapter, Edgartown, MA; The Breast Cancer Center at George Washington University, Sahara Dance and Jones-Haywood School of Dance in Washington, DC. 

kArInA began her study of spirituality, life coaching and meditation under the tutelage of Dr. Iyanla Vanzant at Inner Visions Institute for Spiritual Development, where she received a Certificate of Completion in Spiritual Life Maintenance. kArInA is currently enrolled in the Training in Mindfulness Facilitation (TMF) program at the Mindful Awareness Research Center, Semel Institute, UCLA, LA, CA. kArInA also practices with Insight Meditation Community of Washington and other enlightened instructors.

Captivated by the effects of healing through movement and dance, kArInA has explored and studied movement improvisation, modern, salsa, journey, contact, trance and belly dance. She studied trance dance with the late Gabriel Roth (5Rhythms) and has taken workshops with Margot Anand on sacred sexuality.
