Cherished Mama Prenatal Yoga celebrates pregnancy as a sacred rite of passage in a woman’s life. This four week series is designed to deepen a woman’s connection to herself and her baby, while toning and firming the body in preparation for labor and birth. Through breath control (pranayama), meditation, and yoga postures (asanas) women are encouraged to tap into their body’s innate wisdom about pregnancy and childbirth. It provides much needed relaxation and restoration, and can help relieve some of the physical discomforts of pregnancy. Moms-to-be also experience a sense of community and support, while celebrating this unique time in their lives. You will leave feeling empowered to listen to your body and honor your heart, both on and off the mat.
